SANA'A August 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Economy, Industry and Investment Ministers , Moeen Al-Mahaqri, Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, Youth and Sports, Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Obbad, visited on Sunday the first Khairat Al-Yemen Festival for "Pomegranates, Apples, Grapes and Dates".
The ministers and the Capital Secretary , along with the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Secretariat, Amin Jumaan, toured the festival pavilions, which is organized by the Secretariat in coordination with the relevant authorities and will continue for a week, as well as the productive pavilion , which was held on the festival sidelines .
The ministers praised the preparation and organization level of the festival, which reflects the leadership's keenness to support and encourage national agricultural products and farmers to advance this sector, achieve self-sufficiency and develop the national economy.
They stressed the importance of organizing agricultural festivals and their role in documenting activities and programs to promote local products, develop their competitiveness and qualify them for export to global markets.
