
SANA'A August 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Al-Ahly Club management in Sana'a concluded a contract with Moroccan coach Idris Al-Morabit to Emperor lead during the Gulf Clubs Championship scheduled to start on October 23.
Coach Al-Morabit is scheduled to arrive early next month to begin his duties with the seventh star champions , according to his prepared program with the assistant staff represented by his assistant Jamal Al-Qadimi and the goalkeeping coach Moaz Abdul Khaliq, in order to prepare technically and physically before heading to the competitions in the Gulf Clubs Championship in which Al-Ahmar Al-Sana'ani is participating as the first club in Yemen.
Moroccan coach Idriss El Mrabet has a rich career as a player and coach, having previously played for Hassania Tangier, Ittihad Tangier and Wydad Fez.
He also played professionally in Portugal with Torriense in the second division, Al-Orouba Omani club and Dibba Al-Fujairah UAE club.
He also represented the Moroccan national team in the African Cup of Nations in Senegal in 1992.
In his rich coaching career, coach El Mrabet led Ittihad Tangier , Ittihad Chaouen clubs, and the Omani clubs Al-Orouba, Saham, Al-Ittihad, Sur, Al-Nasr and Oman.
He also led Dibba Al-Hisn UAE club , recently Al-Ansar Lebanon club, and worked as an assistant coach for the Libyan national team.
