SANA'A August 25. 2024 (Saba): The General Authority for Preservation of Historic Cities appealed to local and international organizations concerned with protecting cultural heritage for urgent cooperation in order to save historic cities from the effects of heavy rains.
It stated in a statement received (Saba) that the climatic conditions that Yemen is going through have greatly affected historic cities.
It appealed to local and international organizations concerned with protecting cultural heritage to provide urgent support to confront these climatic changes, as well as support temporary insurance work and permanent restoration projects.
