
HAJJAH August 24. 2024 (Saba) - A training course in the field of food processing began in Hajjah Governorate on Saturday.
The course, organized by the Women's Development Department at the Governorate Office, aims to provide 30 participants with skills in the manufacture of pickles, jams, juices and pastries.
At the opening, the Director of Women's Development in the governorate, Aya Al-Hamzi, stressed the importance of the course in developing local production, and raising the awareness of participants in the use of surplus agricultural products in the innovation and manufacture of foodstuffs.
She urged the participants to take advantage of the outcomes of the course to ensure the achievement of the desired goals in acquiring skills in food processing, and the work of small projects to increase family income, and enhance the factors of resilience and stability.
