GAZA August 24. 2024 (Saba) - Local Palestinian sources on Saturday said that about 100,000 citizens have been displaced from the east of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip during the past two days, due to the increasingly intensive bombardment of the Zionist enemy on the city and its surroundings.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, 20 shelters were out of service due to intensive shelling and evacuation orders issued by the occupation army.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), between July 1 and August 21, the occupation authorities issued 16 eviction orders, and forcibly displaced about 213,000 Palestinians from the beginning of August to the 16th of the same month.

Based on UN data, nine out of ten people in the Gaza Strip have been displaced by Israeli attacks.

The organization's data also indicates that most Palestinians in Gaza had to relocate at least once a month.
