SANA'A August 24. 2024 (Saba) - Presidential Decree No. (3) of 1446 AH was issued on Saturday to establish the Legal Office of the State and determine its functions and competencies.
The resolution included eight articles divided into three chapters as follows:
Chapter One: Nomenclature, Definitions and Creation.
Chapter Two: Objectives, Tasks and General Competencies of the Office.
Chapter Three: Organizational Structure.
The eighth and last article of the decree stipulates that it shall enter into force from the date of its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.
