AL-KHALIL August 20. 2024 (Saba) - A Palestinian youth was injured with bruises on Tuesday evening, in an attack by Zionist settlers under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces on the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, while the enemy forces stormed the village of Baqat al-Hatab, east of Qalqilya.
The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" quoted activist Osama Makhamra, as saying: A group of Zionist settlers under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces attacked the house of a Palestinian citizen and beat him with batons, which led to bruises in his hand, and he was transferred to a medical center.
It added: The Zionist enemy forces also stormed the area of "Al-Majaz" in Masafer Yatta, and fired flares.
According to local sources, enemy forces stormed the western area of the village, known as "Hariqa Khalil", launched a large-scale combing campaign in agricultural lands, detained several young men, and impeded their movement, but no arrests were reported.
For the third consecutive day, the Zionist enemy forces continued to tighten their measures at the military checkpoints deployed in the vicinity of the city of Qalqilya.
