GAZA August 20 .2024 (Saba) - The government media office in Gaza on Tuesday said the number of male and female journalist martyrs had risen to 170 since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza Strip, after the martyrdom of Journalist Hamza Abdel Rahman Murtaja on Tuesday.
In a statement, the office condemned in the strongest terms the targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists by Zionist enemy.
The office held Zionist enemy fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.
The international community and international organizations related to journalistic work need to deter and prosecute Israel at international courts for its ongoing crimes, and press for an end to the crime of genocide and killing the Palestinian journalists, the office added.
