Commenting on this massacre, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, said in a special statement to the Saba Agency: The school building was completely leveled to the ground, and as we can see inside these classrooms there were a number of citizens, and our crews pulled out from under the rubble about ten martyrs as a result of this targeting. He added: But unfortunately we are talking about body parts and corpses, some of which were split in half, the first half is under the rubble and the other half is visible, and thus the crews are forced to cut this body so that we can bury it.
