RAYMAH August 18. 2024 (Saba) – Raymah province undersecretary Mohammed Murad on Sunday conducted an inspection to assess the extensive damage inflicted by torrential rains in Oden area of al-Jubain district.
During the visit, Murad observed substantial destruction to roads, homes, and citizens' properties. The floods severely impacted agricultural lands, including coffee and mango crops, and caused significant damage to shops and vehicles.
Murad emphasized the need for urgent emergency measures to address and repair the damage caused by the floods.
He urged residents living near slopes and torrent channels to exercise caution and avoid dangerous areas to ensure their safety.
The Province Undersecretary also indicated that a comprehensive damage assessment would be submitted to central emergency units and support organizations to facilitate a prompt response and provide the necessary assistance to affected citizens.
