KHARTOUM August 18. 2024 (Saba) -The International Organization for Migration announced that more than 117,000 Sudanese have been displaced from their areas due to rains and floods since last June.
The organization explained in a statement published yesterday, Saturday, that "in the period from June 1 to August 12, rains and floods caused sudden displacement in Sudan."
According to the organization's estimates, the number of displaced people reached 117,835 individuals in 12 of Sudan's 18 states.
