GAZA August 17. 2024 (Saba) -The Zionist new evacuation orders targeting Deir al-Balah have left ten water wells out of order in the eastern part of the city, chief of the local emergency committee said on Saturday.
It is hazardous now to approach three other wells west Saladin Street, Ismael Sarsor added in remarks carried by Ma'an news agency.
With ten wells not working, water situation will be very dire in the next period, he said, as the wells serve as the main source for the city's center.
