SANA'A August 17. 2024 (Saba)– Undersecretary of Sana'a province and Vice Chairman of the Emergency Committee Fares al-Kuhali on Saturday inspected rainwater channels and drains in the New Sana'a district.
The inspection aimed to address the impacts of recent flooding and ensure proper maintenance of drainage systems.
The undersecretary's team assessed flood damage in al-Andalos neighborhood and the intersection of the main street with 50th Street.
It reviewed rainwater and flood drainage systems and emphasized the urgent need to remove flood waste to protect public infrastructure, the environment, and citizens.
