HAJJAH August 16. 2024 (Saba) — The Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in Hajjah has begun distributing livestock to displaced families in Kushar district as part of the Integrated Resilience Project.
The initiative, funded by the Humanitarian Funding Fund and managed by the Sustainable Development Foundation, aims to support 60 families across several camps, including Bani Ajar, Khamis al-Qadi, and Sheab Dawood, Sada, al-Hamareen, and Bani Qammas, with a total investment of $13,200.
Director of the Supreme Council branch in Hajjah Allan Fadhayel highlighted the project's role in alleviating the hardships faced by the displaced.
Fadhayel, along with council representative Ahmed al-Qadi, also reviewed ongoing development efforts, including road improvements, bathroom construction, and school rehabilitation.
Key activities include paving seven roads, constructing 53 bathrooms, and building classrooms at local schools, which are expected to significantly benefit the affected communities.
