GAZA August 13. 2024 (Saba) - Gaza Strip sees endless displacement, the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said on Tuesday, as 84% of the Strip (area of 305 square kilometers) was put under evacuation orders issued by Israeli authorities.
The people flee to survive and bring with them what they can carry, leaving everything else behind, the Agency added on 'X'. "They are exhausted, and find no safe place to seek refuge in."
One can smell blood in the air, says director of UNRWA affairs in Gaza, noting that Gaza hospitals suffer awful conditions amid severe lack of necessary medical supplies.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is 100% human-made crisis, which can be ended by humans, Scott Anderson added.
