SANA'A August 13. 2024 (Saba) - An official source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the position of the Republic of Cuba calling for an end to the genocide committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and the establishment of a Palestinian State.
The source considered in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the moral positions of the Cuban policy towards the justice of the Palestinian cause, as well as the position rejecting the aggression of the United States and its allies on Yemen, and its repeated warnings of the consequences of the continuation of aggressive bombing operations, as they will lead to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, represent a continuation of the revolutionary approach on which the Cuban revolution was based against the colonial imperialist powers led by the great revolutionaries Guevara and former President Fidel Castro.
"The current leadership in the Republic of Cuba represents an extension of that approach that rejects the hegemony and arrogance of colonial Powers in its new form," It said.
The source pointed to the continued barbarism of the Zionist enemy in the campaign of extermination against civilians in Gaza, and its systematic ideological policy of storming Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrating Islamic and Christian sanctities, which the Republic of Yemen condemns, and considers it a challenge and a provocation to the feelings of the Islamic nation.
