
SANA'A August 13. 2024 (Saba)- The Committee for Preparing the Research Map Priorities Matrix for the Oil, Gas, and Minerals Sector convened a meeting in the capital Sana'a on Tuesday.
In a meeting, chaired by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals Nasser al-Aji, the Committee focused on evaluating proposed studies and research projects.
The committee aimed to create a matrix outlining the ministry's research priorities.
Undersecretary al-Aji emphasized the importance of collaboration in identifying research priorities to maximize economic and technical benefits.
He highlighted the need for innovation and modern technology in exploration, extraction, and manufacturing, alongside environmental sustainability and resource preservation.
Al-Aji expressed confidence in the committee's ability to develop a roadmap aligned with national needs and global energy challenges, urging ongoing meetings and diligent follow-up for successful implementation.
Committee members stressed the importance of integrating efforts across research bodies and academic institutions to achieve the sector's goals.
