TULKARM August 12. 2024 (Saba) - Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, reported on Monday that its fighters from the Tulkarm Battalion targeted a military position and areas where Zionist forces were stationed at the Taybeh crossing in Tulkarm.
The group claimed significant casualties among the soldiers.
In a statement released Monday, Saraya al-Quds, in cooperation with al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, said they launched an attack on Taybeh crossing, achieving direct hits on occupation soldiers.
The statement described the operation as part of the "Flood of al-Aqsa" campaign, intended to respond to ongoing Israeli actions against Palestinians, particularly the recent Fajr massacre on al-Tabeen mosque in Gaza.
Saraya al-Quds denounced the recent inflammatory rhetoric from Israeli ministers and warned that such actions would not secure safety for the occupation forces or their settlers.
The group asserted its readiness to continue defending its people and vowed to persist in its struggle until the land is liberated from occupation.
