NEW YORK August 10. 2024 (Saba): The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, described what happened in Gaza from the bombing of a school sheltering displaced persons by saying, "Another day of horror in Gaza, after the bombing of another school, and the killing of dozens of Palestinians, including women, children and the elderly."
Lazzarini said in a brief statement on his page on the "X" platform, today, Saturday, that all parties are required to protect civilians and infrastructure at all times, stressing that schools, United Nations facilities and civilian infrastructure are not targets.
