DOHA August 08. 2024 (Saba) - There is a bylaw governing Hamas with all its components, chief of the Movement's international relations department said on Wednesday, as Hamas's "Shura Council is the guard in charge of its regulations."
Haniyah played excellent role during his term, and served as a model to follow at the national and public levels, Musa Abu Marzouq added in remarks carried by the Palestinian media center.
"The Movement's regulations state that Khaled Mashal or Yahiya al-Sinwar would take office," he said. "But Mashal excused [to assume] this post, and recommended his brother Sinwar to lead the Movement."
Israel's decision to target its leaders does not affect Hamas, since "it's strong, established Movement."
