NEW YORK August 08. 2024 (Saba) - Tehran has two priorities at the same time; ceasefire in Gaza and occupiers' withdrawal from the Strip, as well as punishing the Zionist entity for assassinating Haniyah and preventing Zionist assaults repetition the Iranian delegation to the UN said late on Wednesday, according to Mehr news agency.
Asked if Iran will quit reprisal to Israeli assassination of Haniyah once Hamas reaches a ceasefire, the delegation said "we're pursuing two objectives; first lasting ceasefire in Gaza and occupiers' withdrawal from the Strip, second punishing the offender for Haniyah assassination, preventing repetition of Zionist terrorist assault, and making the Zionists regret taking this path."
