TEHRAN August 08. 2024 (Saba) - Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri congratulated Yahya Sinwar on his election as the new head of Hamas's political bureau, stressing that this election in the current sensitive era is an indication of hope, harmony, strength and victory in the Hamas movement, the Palestinians and the axis of resistance.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Bagheri in a letter addressed to Sinwar on Thursday, saying: "The election of Sinwar is also an indication the assassination failure policy , occupation , the Zionist entity aggression and its international protectors."
He added: "Today, with the blessing of the faithful and heroic jihad of the dear Palestinian people, especially the oppressed and capable Gaza, Palestine has become a global issue and resistance has become a strategic choice."
Bagheri concluded his message by saying: “We hope that under the new leadership of Hamas, the harmony , unity of the resistance fighters, and the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinians , we will witness the jihad continuation of the martyred leaders of this movement and the achievement of increasing political and field victories until the final victory is achieved in liberating all the land of historical Palestine from the river to the sea and forming the independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.”
