TEHRAN August 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Republic of Iran has awarded the International Islamic Human Rights Award to the martyr of the nation, the Mujahid leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
Hamas said in a statement that the eighth Islamic Human Rights Award ceremony, entitled "Defending the Oppressed Palestinians, the Resistance Axis and Confronting the Crimes of the Zionist Entity," was held in the presence of Hamas' representative in Iran, Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi, the head of the judiciary, army officials, and ambassadors of Islamic countries residing in Tehran.
It explained that the movement's representative in Tehran, Khaled Al-Qaddoumi, received the Martyr Leader Haniyeh Award on behalf of his family and the movement.
Al-Qaddoumi said while receiving the award: "Human rights are a broad , deep concept, it means respecting human dignity , pride, that human rights and people have no meaning for the criminal, child-killing Zionist entity."
