BEIRUT August 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, said that it launched an air attack with a squadron of suicide drones targeting the headquarters of the Golani Brigade north of Acre, and also targeted Haifa and the occupied Upper Galilee.

The Islamic Resistance confirmed in a statement today, Tuesday, that "the drones targeted this afternoon the headquarters of the Golani Brigade and the headquarters of the Egoz Unit 621 in the "Shraga" barracks in Acre, hitting their targets accurately and achieving confirmed hits."

The statement added that a building used by the Zionist enemy soldiers in the "Avivim" settlement was targeted, in response to the Zionist attacks that targeted southern Lebanese villages and safe houses.

A Zionist was killed and at least five others were injured on Tuesday, following a large-scale attack launched by the Islamic Resistance with drones on the Western Galilee region in northern occupied Palestine.

The Zionist ambulance announced that two people were injured in a drone explosion in the Western Galilee, one of them in critical condition.

Later, the "Israel News" website reported that the seriously injured person died of his wounds as a result of the explosion of a Hezbollah drone in the village of Al-Mazra'a.

In turn, the Zionist Channel 12 said that at least five people were injured as a result of the recent Hezbollah bombing towards the Western Galilee.

For its part, the newspaper "Israel Hayom" said that two people were injured in addition to a car north of Nahariya, after Hezbollah shelling targeted the area. The Zionist newspaper confirmed that smoke rose from a military site in the Gulf between Acre and Haifa.
