Air Force Command commemorates Martyr Major General Ahmed Al-Hamzi First Anniversary

SANA'A August 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Air Force and Air Defense Command commemorated on Tuesday the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the Mujahid Major General Ahmed Ali Ahsan Al-Hamzi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, with a speech event.

At the event, the Deputy Minister of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Allamah Fouad Naji, praised the virtues of the martyr Ahmed Al-Hamzi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, who was a role model for the Mujahideen, especially those affiliated with the Air Force, and was distinguished by the characteristics of a successful leader.

He said, "The martyr worked silently and did not like to appear in the media. He was an unknown soldier to the people, but known to God Almighty. This requires everyone to follow his path in punishing the enemies and confronting the forces of hegemony and arrogance led by America, Britain and the Zionist entity."

The Deputy Minister of Guidance reviewed the achievements made under the leadership of the martyr Al-Hamzi in the Air Force, including the manufacture weapons, drones and ballistic missiles that are now destroying the strongholds of the Zionist entity in the Palestinian territories and enemy ships in the Red, Arab and Mediterranean seas.

During the event, Ahsan Al-Hamzi, the brother of the martyr, Major General Ahmed Al-Hamzi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, delivered a speech on behalf of the martyr's family, in which he stressed that the martyr left in them an inextinguishable flame and a fire of determination whose values will not be forgotten and will remain a beacon for his family throughout time.

He said, "You revived in us the spirit of courage and steadfastness and taught us that the right is worth sacrifice. We pledge to continue the path and we will protect the homeland and achieve the justice for which you sacrificed. We will maintain the readiness of the Air Force and Air Defense , we will not be intimidated by difficulties and we will not fear challenges."

In his speech, Al-Hamzi renewed the pledge to God, the homeland and the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs until achieving victory over the enemies or martyrdom in the arenas of dignity, pride and heroism.
