
DHAMAR August 05. 2024 (Saba) - Oil and Gas Companies branches in Dhamar Province organized a cultural event to commemorate Imam Zaid bin Ali martyrdom, peace be upon them.
In the event, the Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jabin considered the commemoration of Imam Zaid martyrdom a station to remember his biography and continue on his path in confronting injustice and tyranny.. pointing to the conspiracies and plans that have been hatched against the nation since the dawn of Islam until today.
He reviewed the challenges facing the nation and the extent of the massacres and the extermination war that the Palestinians are being subjected to in Gaza Strip by the Zionist enemy with American and British support.. urging concerted efforts to continue supporting the efforts of the armed forces in their sacred battle in confronting the Zionist enemy , its supporters and to triumph for the oppressed and the weak.
Al-Jabin reviewed some of the virtues and heroism of Imam Zaid, and his fragrant biography that was and still is an inspiration to generations throughout the ages.. pointing out that Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, is an example of knowledge and piety, who acquired knowledge , wisdom from his fathers, and devoted his life to calling for truth and jihad in the way of Allah.
He explained that "he, peace be upon him, did not stand idly by in the face of injustice and oppression, but rather called for reform and justice, refusing to submit and submit to tyrants, so he led a great revolution against injustice and tyranny at that stage."
He considered commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid not just a remembrance of a past history, but rather a renewal of the pledge to follow in his footsteps, and adhere to the principles for which he struggled."
Al-Jabin stressed the need of the nation today to draw inspiration from the lessons of sacrifice and steadfastness from the life of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, and to move towards building societies based on justice and equality.
