SANA'A August 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Public Authority for Land Transport Affairs and the Traffic Police carried out on Monday a field descent to Al-Zubairi Street in the Capital Municipality to determine taxi bus stops and stations.
The Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyed, and the Director General of the Traffic Police, Brigadier General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, were briefed on the proposed points to determine the waiting and parking stations for taxis on Al-Zubairi Street.
He stressed the importance of implementing the joint matrix related to the organization of sorting, which contributes to enhancing traffic safety.
For his part, the Director General of the Traffic Police stressed the need for taxi drivers to be disciplined at the points that will be determined for the boarding and disembarking of passengers on the streets of Sana'a as a first stage to preserve the flow of traffic and reduce traffic jams.
Dr. Al-Barashi pointed out that the identification of places and waiting stations will include all streets of the capital. He called on car and taxi drivers to cooperate with traffic officers for the benefit of all.
