DHAMAR August 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Land, Survey, and Urban Planning Authority, Customs, and Industry offices in Dhamar province held a speech event on Monday to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon him, under the theme "Whoever Loves Life Lives in Humiliation."
In attendance were Dhamar Undersecretary Mohammed Abdulrazzaq and Abdulghani al-Dailami, Director of the Land and Survey Branch, al-Dailami highlighted Imam Zaid’s revolutionary legacy, emphasizing his fight against injustice and tyranny. He described Imam Zaid's movement as a comprehensive scientific, cultural, and enlightening project, driven by deep insight and conviction.
Al-Dailami praised Imam Zaid’s unique approach to confronting oppression, noting his wisdom, eloquence, and effective advocacy. He underscored the relevance of Imam Zaid's principles in today's global context, particularly in opposing modern-day injustices perpetrated by powers like America and Israel.
Sadiq al-Jaber, Director of the Industry Office, elaborated on Imam Zaid’s mission to challenge prevailing injustices and promote moral and spiritual awakening. He urged the community to emulate Imam Zaid’s example of faith, resilience, and commitment to confronting tyranny and oppression.
Al-Jaber reflected on Imam Zaid’s strong connection to the Quran and his revolutionary efforts to combat stagnation and submission to tyrants. He called for the continued embrace of Imam Zaid’s values in defending the nation’s honor and dignity.
