SANA'A August 03. 2024 (Saba)– Sana'a province on Saturday saw large-scale protests on the International Day of Rage, supporting Gaza and expressing solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.

Attendees, including Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi and local officials, condemned the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Commander Fouad Shukr by the Occupation.

The protests, organized by the province's head office and other executive offices, featured chants denouncing the attacks and reaffirming Yemeni support for the Palestinian cause.

Governor al-Hadi emphasized unity against oppression and pride in Yemen's historical support for Palestine.

The protests criticized the mistreatment of Palestinian prisoners by the Occupation, called for continued jihad, and denounced the failure of many Arab and Islamic governments to support Palestinians.

They urged global citizens to expose Israeli-Nazi violations and demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners from collaborating regimes.

The protests also supported the fifth phase of escalation against what they view as Zionist, American, and British aggression.
