
IBB August 03. 2024 (Saba) - The Agricultural and Fisheries Committee in Ibb province has delivered the second batch of cement for Madfar barrier project in the village of Mushaira, al-Sayani district.
This batch consists of 1,430 bags of cement and is supported by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the province.
The Madfar barrier, with a storage capacity of 45 cubic meters and a height of 12 meters, aims to enhance local agricultural initiatives.
Ibb governor Abdulwahid Salah emphasized that the project reflects the Leader of the Revolution's directives to support community and agricultural initiatives.
Salah acknowledged the efforts of the Agricultural Committee, the Agriculture and Irrigation Office, and the Agricultural Financing Unit.
First undersecretary governor and head of the Agricultural and Fisheries Committee Abdulhamid al-Shahari highlighted that the project is part of the committee's plan to boost agricultural efforts in rural areas.
Al-Shahari noted that approximately 3,500 farmers in al-Arabiyyin district will benefit from improved irrigation for their lands.
