BEIRUT August 02. 2024 (Saba) - The Lebanese Resistance led by Hezbollah has targeted positions of the Zionist enemy on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
"In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, the Lebanese resistance carried out a number of operations against the positions and deployment of the Israeli enemy army in the settlement of Mitsofa on the Lebanese-Palestinian border with dozens of Katyusha rockets in response to the enemy's attack on the town of Shamaa and the martyrdom of a number of civilians there," a statement by the resistance said on Friday.
In another statement, the resistance announced that its air defense unit fired anti-aircraft missiles at enemy warplanes inside Lebanese airspace in the southern region, forcing it to retreat and withdraw beyond the border.
