KUWAIT July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran that led to the assassination of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
Kuwait also expressed in a statement today, Wednesday, its deep concern over the criminal and irresponsible act carried out by the Zionist enemy.
It stressed that this aggressive behavior is considered a dangerous development and a flagrant violation of the international law principles , the most important of which is respect for the independent states sovereignty .
Kuwait called on the United Nations and the rest of the international community to stand firmly and immediately to avoid any military escalation that might plunge the region and the world into chaos and a spiral of violence, and undermine the chances of peace.
It renewed its call for pressure on the Zionist enemy government to stop the attacks and genocide to which the brotherly Palestinian people are being subjected.
Kuwait also offered its condolences and sympathy to the Palestinians and leadership.
