BAGHDAD July 31. 2024 (Saba) -The Iraqi Hashd Shabi early on Wednesday said an American drone attack late on Tuesday targeted two patrols of the group in Jorf al-Sakhr, leaving three fighters killed and many others injured.
Available information indicate that the two patrols were bombed by a missile from a drone, Hashd board said in a statement.
The assault also targeted radars and early alarming equipment in Jorf al-Nasser, according to al-Mayadeen.
Later, an American official said the U.S. forces in Iraq carried out a defensive aerial attack in Babel province, claiming that the fighters were preparing for drones attack and posed a threat to the U.S. and coalition forces.
