BEIRUT July 31. 2024 (Saba) - Khalil al-Hayya, a leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, on Wednesday emphasized the strong relationship between Palestine, the nation, Iran, and the resistance axis, aiming for the liberation of Palestine and al-Aqsa.
In a press conference, al-Hayya stated that the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh would only strengthen the cohesion between the Palestinian resistance, Hamas, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al-Hayya described the assassination of Haniyeh as painful but a source of pride, and expressed gratitude to Yemen, Lebanon, and others opposing the Zionist-Nazi enemy.
He highlighted the support from the Islamic resistance in Iraq for Gaza and stressed the importance of retaliating against the perpetrators of the assassination.
He also assured that Hamas and the resistance have a clear strategy and that the martyrdom of leaders would not alter their course.
Al-Hayya reaffirmed that Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque remain their primary focus and vowed that al-Qassam Brigades would hold the Zionist entity accountable for Haniyeh's assassination.
Al-Hayya concluded by stating that the actions of the Zionist enemy are leading to its downfall and that the resistance is committed to continuing its struggle until liberation.
