GAZA July 30. 2024 (Saba) - Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and wounded early Tuesday due to artillery and missile shelling by Zionist forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) medical crews retrieved the bodies of martyrs and the wounded after occupation forces withdrew from Bani Suhaila and Al-Qarara areas east of Khan Yunis, where they had been invading for a week.
The injured were taken to Nasser Hospital, according to the agency.
In the town of Abasan al-Kabira, medics retrieved martyrs and wounded from a bombed house.
A woman was martyred and six others were injured in a residential apartment bombing in Hamad City.
The Zionist enemy's warplanes also targeted the vicinity of the displaced people's tents in Hamad residential towers area and a house belonging to the Al-Masry family near the Tahlia junction.
Intensive shelling occurred around Al-Awda schools sheltering displaced people, and helicopters fired on homes in Abasan al-Jadida.
In Gaza City, paramedics recovered the bodies of five martyrs in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and another martyr near Al-Saftawi roundabout. Warplanes also targeted the upper floors of the Friends Building in the Ansar area.
Additionally, enemy vehicles and artillery shelled areas in and around Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat camps in central Gaza and Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist forces' land, air, and sea aggression on Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 39,363 Palestinian citizens, mostly children and women, and the injury of 90,923 others.
Thousands of victims remain under rubble and in inaccessible areas.
