TEHRAN July 30. 2024 (Saba) - Iran's new President Massoud Bezeshkian was sworn in on Tuesday to become the ninth president of the Islamic Republic of Iran during a ceremony attended by delegations representing dozens of countries.
In his oath to the head of the judiciary, Bizshkian stressed that he would be the guardian of Islam and the Islamic Republic's system and constitution.
Last Sunday, the new Iranian President Massoud Bezeshkian received the inauguration of the fourteenth session of the presidency of the Islamic Republic from the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei.
It is noteworthy that Massoud Bezeshkian won the second round of the Iranian presidential elections, which took place on the fifth of July, beating his rival Saeed Jalili.
