LONDON July 29. 2024 (Saba) - Eight people were injured in a stabbing incident in the northwestern British city of Southport on Monday, with police announcing the arrest of a man in connection with the incident.
The police said in a statement published on their website on the X platform: "Emergency services arrived in Southport following an incident, where a man was arrested and a knife was seized from him."
It added: Eight people were injured as a result of the stabbing.
