OCCUPIED AL-QUDS July 24. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy forces on Thursday demolished multiple homes and facilities in al-,Quds Hebron, the Jordan Valley, and Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

In occupied al-Quds, enemy bulldozers destroyed two residential structures belonging to Ahmed Samir Abu Khayara and Ibrahim Al-Daraj in Ain Al-Juwaiza, located in the village of Al-Walaja, southwest of the city.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, the demolitions included a residential apartment in Abu Khayara's house and a house under construction for Al-Daraj.

Since the beginning of this month, ten structures have been demolished in Al-Walaja, most of which were in Ain Al-Juwaiza.

Al-Quds Al-Bawsala documented that a total of 19 structures have been demolished in the area since the start of the year.

In Hebron, local sources reported that enemy forces demolished a three-story house under construction in the Haska area, northwest of the city.

The house belonged to Abdul Karim Zaloum. Additionally, enemy forces demolished an agricultural room, destroyed its contents, and uprooted fruit trees and retaining walls belonging to Safwat Al-Qawasmeh in the Farsh Al-Hawa area.

In the Jordan Valley, enemy bulldozers demolished three residential facilities in the village of Al-Jiftlik. Local sources indicated that two tin-roofed structures, measuring 120 and 160 square meters, belonging to Ayed Dais from Tal Al-Samadi, and another structure belonging to Anwar Judeh from Khirbet Allan were destroyed.

In Bethlehem, enemy forces demolished a residential apartment in Al-Walaja, northwest of the city. Khader Al-Araj, head of the village council, stated that enemy forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the Ain Hweiza area and demolished an apartment under construction, citing the lack of a building permit. This apartment was a second floor of the house owned by Abu Khayara.

On July 15, enemy forces demolished five houses in the Al-Maqbara neighborhood in Ain Jwiza, Al-Walaja.

Since the beginning of the comprehensive Zionist-American aggression against the Palestinian people in October 2023, demolitions in the West Bank, particularly in Area C (which comprises about 60% of the West Bank), have escalated. Data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission show that 318 structures were demolished in the West Bank in the first half of 2024, compared to 313 during the entire year of 2023, indicating an unprecedented increase in demolitions.
