TEHRAN July 20. 2024 (Saba) -Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the Zionist aggression on the facilities of the Yemeni port of Hodeida.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Kanaani, in a statement, strongly condemned the Zionist entity's aggression against the facilities of the Yemeni port of Hodeidah.
Kanaani said that the oppressed and powerful Yemeni people are paying the price for their honorable support to the innocent people, women and children of Gaza.
Kanaani described these attacks, which led to the destruction of the civilian infrastructure of the port of Hodeidah and the martyrdom and injury of a group of Yemeni people, as revealing the aggressive nature of the child-killing Zionist entity.
He warned of the danger of escalating tension and the spread of war in the region as a result of the dangerous adventures of the Zionists.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman considered the ongoing massacres and the comprehensive siege of the defenseless residents of the Gaza Strip as the main cause of the current tensions in the region. He stressed that calm will not return to the region as long as the Zionist entity's aggression against Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, continues.
Kanaani held the Zionist enemy entity and its protectors, including the US government, directly responsible for the serious and unforeseen consequences of continued crimes in Gaza as well as adventures targeting Yemen.
At the end of his statement, the Iranian spokesman asked Allah Almighty to bless the martyrs of today's attacks on the Yemeni port of Hodeida with his vast mercy, to inspire patience and solace to their families, and to grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
