SANA'A July 20. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the Israeli aggression on the port of Hodeidah and its targeting of oil derivatives tanks and the power station as cowardly.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered in a statement received by (Saba) a copy of it that the Israeli aggression on the port of Hodeidah and the targeting of oil derivatives tanks and the power station, which resulted in the rise of a number of martyrs and the injury of other civilians, is contrary to international law and the purposes of the Charter of the United Nations, and represents a blatant picture of the international chaos spread by America and its allies through its unlimited support for the Zionist enemy.
It pointed out that the Zionist aggression against the Republic of Yemen is a desperate attempt to cover up the war crimes and genocide it is committing against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, and a punishment for the leadership and people of the Republic of Yemen for its position rejecting Zionist aggression and for Sana'a's assumption of its humanitarian and moral responsibilities in providing the necessary support in accordance with its capabilities in imposing a naval blockade on the Zionist enemy and preventing and targeting ships owned by it or those heading towards the occupied Palestinian ports.
It stressed that the Yemeni people, who march in millions of marches weekly in support of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, authorized the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to take the necessary measures and continue naval military operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean until the end of the Zionist aggression and the entry of humanitarian, food, medicine and fuel aid to the Gaza Strip without any obstacles.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the Republic of Yemen, steadfast for the tenth consecutive year in the face of military aggression and a comprehensive blockade that has created the worst man-made humanitarian disaster known to the modern world, will not be deterred by the American-British aggression or the Zionist aggression from continuing its humanitarian and moral duty towards Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The statement concluded by stressing that the national leadership in Sana'a, along with the masses of the Yemeni people and their armed forces, will not stand idly by and will respond to the aggression of the Zionist entity at the right time and place.
