Palestinian journalist injured by gas bomb, two citizens suffocated as Israel suppressed rally in Beita
[20/ July/2024]
NABLUS July 20. 2024 (Saba) - A Palestinian journalist was injured by a gas bomb in the head and a number of citizens suffered from suffocation on Friday as Zionist forces suppressed an anti-settlement march in Beita town, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency reported that enemy forces suppressed the weekly Beta march with live bullets and tear gas bombs, which led to a number of citizens suffering from suffocation.

It was reported that journalist Sedqi Rayyan was injured by a gas bomb in the head after it hit one of the walls, after enemy forces targeted citizens and prevented them from approaching the lands adjacent to Mount Sabih, on which the “Avitar” settlement outpost was built.

The weekly march in Beita follows the decision of the Zionist enemy government to legitimize the “Avitar” outpost by considering it as “state land,” along with four other settlement outposts in the West Bank.
