GAZA July 18. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Thursday mourned, to the Palestinian people and to the Arab and Islamic Uma, one of the figures of the Palestinian people, and one of the heroes of its resistance history, the representative in the Palestinian Legislative Council, Muhammad Shihab Abu Abdurrahman, may God have mercy on him.
Representative Shihab was left sick and deprived from treatment in the northern Gaza Strip, like all the other sons of the great Palestinian people, the movement said in a statement.
The statement stated that the martyr leader Muhammad Shehab was one of the founders of the resistance work of Hamas movement, and one of its first heroes, before the enemy arrested him for ten years along with the mujahid sheikh Ahmed Yassin and the martyr mujahid leader Salah Shehadeh, and he bid farewell to his son Abdurrahman, a mujahid martyr, to be one of the symbols of the Palestinian people in sacrifice of self and child.
Muhammad Shehab was also one of the pioneers of the Palestinian people in popular and political work throughout his years, and one of the standard bearers of the cause of the heroic prisoners, as he chaired the Prisoners’ Committee in the Legislative Council, and for years he defended them and demanded their freedom.
While bidding farewell to the martyr Shehab, Hamas affirmed its insistence on continuing the path of resistance and steadfastness and confronting the occupation until its demise... pledging that it and its leaders will remain on the side of the Al-Murabitun people of Palestine, suffering what they are enduring, sharing their pain and deprivation on the one hand, and steadfastness and defiance on the other hand.
