IBB July 16. 2024 (Saba) - A central event was organized on Tuesday in Ibb province, to commemorate Ashura - the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Far from us humiliation.”
At the event, which was attended by the Minister of Water and Environment in the caretaker government, Engineer Abdel Raqeeb Al-Sharmani, Ibb Governor, Abdel Wahed Salah, a number of members of the parliament , Shura Council, and province representatives , the governor’s public mobilization official, Abdel Fattah Ghallab, pointed out the importance of drawing inspiration from lessons from the biography , approach of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, his courage , steadfastness and his sacrifices in the tyranny and arrogance forces face.
He stressed that commemorating Ashura reflects the status of Imam Hussein in the hearts of Yemenis and the emphasis on following his path in confronting the forces of invasion and occupation, pointing to the dimensions of Imam Hussein’s revolution, his oppression, the aggression and siege to which the Yemeni people are exposed, in full view of the world.
Ghallab explained that the tragedy of Karbala and the tragedy of the tenth of Muharram against Imam Hussein and his family will remain the most influential incident on the nation until the Judgment Hour .
For his part, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, scholar Muqbil Al-Kadhi, confirmed that the Yemenis’ the martyrdom of Imam Hussein commemoration comes as an embodiment of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the guidance leaders, and to consolidate the values of pride, loyalty, sacrifice, and redemption for the sake of God.
He pointed to the great stances inspired by the revolution of Imam Hussein, which embodied the meanings of courage, steadfastness, sacrifice and redemption for the sake of upholding the word of God, supporting truth and fighting falsehood.
Al-Kadahi noted the need for the nation to return to Imam Hussein approach and imitate him in order to get out of humiliation reality and brokenness that it is experiencing due to the conspiracies of the enemies, Jews and Christians.
