MOSCOW July 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday said air defense systems destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones over several regions of the country.
“Last night, the Kiev regime attempted to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on the territory of the Russian Federation. Air defense systems destroyed nine drones over the territory of Rostov Province, one drone over Belgorod Province, and one drone over Kursk Province.”
The defenses downed a drone over the Voronezh region, and a drone over the Black Sea near the western coast of the Crimean peninsula,” the ministry said in a statement.
On an almost daily basis, Ukrainian forces target the populated Russian border areas in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov provinces and the Crimean Peninsula with drones and missiles, targeting infrastructure and quiet neighborhoods, leading to the killing and wounding of many civilians.
