SANA'A July 16. 2024 (Saba) - The local authority in Hamdan District of Sana'a Province organized on Tuesday a speech event to commemorate Ashura - the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him -, in supporting the Palestinians and their valiant resistance, under the slogan, "Humiliation is far from us."
At the event, which was attended by the province’s undersecretaries, Atef Al-Musali, and Muhammad Dahhan, the province’s undersecretary for the youth and education sector, Talib Dahhan, pointed out the importance of commemorating this anniversary to express the principled position against injustice and oppressors in all times , places, and to adhere to the approach of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the pride in combating injustice.
While Guidance Ministry Undersecretary , Saleh Al-Khawlani, reviewed the imbalances that afflicted the Islamic nation and the attempts of its enemies to undermine its symbols, leaders, and sanctities, stressing that the reason for the Islamic nation’s deviation from the true religion is its distance from the Messenger of God and his family.
In turn, cultural activist Mahdi Al-Najjar urged us to continue steadfastness and follow the path of Imam Hussein in sacrifice, redemption and patience to confront the enemies of the nation and support the Palestinian people.
