TEHRAN July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Iran's president-elect, Masoud Bezeshkian, has stressed that he will not bow before any power in the world. He stressed that the words he launched in the recent period were not a slogan and "we believe in it."
Iranian news agencies quoted Bizshkian as saying: "The Iranian people have held me a heavy and great responsibility." "Without the support and assistance of the people, without elites, experts and workers in the sectors of production, industry, agriculture, religious and cultural fields, I can accomplish nothing," he said.
Addressing campaign members in Tehran, Bezeshkian vowed to be honest with the Iranian people and to fulfill their pledges.
In his first address to the Iranian people after winning the presidential race, Bezeshkian declared that the votes represented a "covenant in his neck." He said he came to be "a servant of the Iranian people."
He said he came to office "to make the country prosperous, to fulfill the promises he made," stressing that he did not make a false promise, nor promised anything he could not deliver.
Bizeshkian stressed the need to turn a new page and unite for Iran. He hopes that the PLC will harmonize with the next government in order to overcome obstacles.
On the foreign policy front, he stressed that Iran's support for the resistance forces is consistent. He stressed that the Islamic Republic considers supporting the Palestinian people and their struggle in the face of the enemy and the Zionist apartheid regime as a humanitarian duty and an Islamic mandate.
