GAZA July 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian factions have warned that the Zionist enemy forces would impose forced displacement on residents of neighborhoods in Gaza City, explaining that the occupation is betting on continuing military pressure against civilians, by committing horrific massacres.
In a statement on Tuesday, the factions asserted that the massacres targeting civilians underscore Netanyahu's and his government's hostile intentions towards the mediation efforts in Qatar and Egypt aimed at achieving a ceasefire and ending the genocidal conflict.
The National and Islamic Forces Follow-up Committee cautioned against downplaying the severity of Netanyahu's government's escalation of the genocidal war, particularly in Gaza City neighborhoods such as al-Shuja’iya, Al-Tuffah, Al-Daraj, and the Old City. They emphasized that the aim is to evacuate residents and relocate them southward, as a prelude to forcibly expelling them from their homeland in what they termed as the largest ethnic cleansing campaign in history.
The coalition of Palestinian resistance forces in Damascus has called for urgent intervention by mediators to halt Netanyahu’s actions and prevent further atrocities. They have also urged international bodies and the United Nations to uphold their legal and humanitarian duties and apply pressure to end the ongoing campaign of extermination.
In response, Hamas reaffirmed that the American-backed Zionist enemy will not succeed in subjugating the Palestinian people, regardless of the escalation of its crimes. Hamas vowed that the resistance will persist in confronting occupation forces "until the aggression is repelled and defeated from our land."
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, for its part, warned of the necessity of avoiding dealing with the psychological war of occupation, which aims to increase pressure on the popular incubator to strike and weaken the resistance.
The Front stressed that these plans will fail and collapse on the rock of the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people, and will not achieve their goals of destabilizing their ranks or changing their positions.
While the Democratic Front stressed the necessity of formulating a unified national position in the face of the Zionist war of aggression and providing Arab and international support to our people in their legendary steadfastness.
The Palestinian National Initiative said that this crime represents an obstacle to reaching a ceasefire and stopping the barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip, and explained that Netanyahu is repeating the sabotage operations that he is accustomed to practicing because he knows that stopping the aggression against Gaza means its political end.
