BAGHDAD July 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received on Sunday, in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, a delegation from the Palestinian resistance, including members of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front.
Al-Ahed News Agency quoted Sheikh Khazali as reiterating the firm position of the Iraqi people, government, authority, and resistance in support of the Palestinian people’s cause, as it represents the conscience and goal of the nation... pointing out that “the axis of resistance is united, and is a fundamental supporter of the Palestinian cause.”
Sheikh Al-Khazali noted that Iraq aspires to be at the forefront of countries that help them reconstruct the destruction of infrastructure that occurred in Gaza.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the negotiations between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist entity were reviewed, and emphasis was placed on the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the continuation of resistance, in addition to steadfastness in their cause and not abandoning it.
The visiting delegation also confirmed that the Zionist enemy is collapsed, especially since the Al-Aqsa Flood destroyed its prestige.
