
IBB, July 08. 2024 (Saba) - Ibb University on Monday commenced differentiation exams for prospective students applying to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and the College of Dentistry for the academic year 1446 AH, 2024-2025 AD.
Rector Dr. Nasr al-Hujaili emphasized that the selection process adheres strictly to standards ensuring fairness, transparency, and accuracy in evaluation, aiming to meet healthcare sector needs with high-quality inputs and outputs.
Highlighting recent infrastructure advancements, modern lab facilities, and qualified faculty, Dr. Al-Hujaili encouraged students not admitted to these specialized programs to explore other offerings across the university.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum reported 1,609 applicants vying for 170 seats in the College of Medicine and 409 for 130 seats under the parallel system, with 101 competing for 50 seats under the private expense system.
He noted ongoing electronic evaluation and anticipated preliminary results tonight on the university's official website.
