HEBRON July 08. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy forces on Monday demolished Khallet Amira Mixed Basic School, east of Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra reported that enemy forces stormed Khallet Amira, affiliated with the municipality of Khallet Al-Mai, east of Yatta, and demolished the school.
He pointed out that the school was built at the expense of the people and European institutions, and has an area of 330 square meters, and 70 male and female students study there, from the first to the fifth grade.
The Karmiel and Tzhar Man settlers attacked the school more than once and destroyed its contents, with the aim of pressuring the residents to leave that area, whose residents the enemy seeks in various ways to forcibly displace its residents and seize it for the benefit of the settlers.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Education, 57 schools in the West Bank have been raided and vandalized by the enemy and its settlers since the seventh of last October.
This morning, enemy forces demolished three houses and sheep pens, bulldozed lands, health units and water tanks, and uprooted trees, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
